Sarah Turner's papercraft takes inspiration from all the piecing arts, especially quilting, stained glass, and mosaic. Her first paper quilts were pieced together from recycled catalogs. Making them gave her the confidence to create new designs using her own hand-painted paper.

Sometimes we all receive pieces we didn't ask for. In 2006 a life-altering illness came Sarah's way. It took some pieces of her life and brought others unexpectedly. Visible Light Studio is the result of arranging the new pieces into a life filled with color.
