Brian Hill

Brian Hill is a fundraiser, strategist, and nonprofit advisor who helps mission-driven organizations grow revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and build the systems they need to sustain their work. He brings a mix of big-picture strategy and hands-on fundraising experience that helps organizations change the world.

Over the course of more than 18 years, Brian has helped domestic and international organizations secure support through individual giving, foundation grants, corporate partnerships, events, and government funding. He has built development teams, shaped fundraising strategy, and helped organizations navigate periods of growth and change with greater focus and discipline. His efforts have raised more than $60 million from some the country’s leading philanthropists, foundations and businesses.

Brian has held leadership and fundraising roles at Freedom House, The Pew Charitable Trusts, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, The Nature Conservancy, and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. He has raised funds for a wide variety of causes including democracy, human rights, international affairs, conservation, health, economics, criminal justice, education, domestic policy, and the arts. These experiences and networks inform every engagement, helping organizations unlock new fundraising opportunities and approaches.
